With this option, the mi+ team supports you through your first essential steps to help make your arrival in Lille as smooth as possible :
- Initial contact : an mi+ manager will get in touch with you before your arrival to prepare for your stay and answer any initial questions ;
- Arrival transfer : we organize and cover your transfer from Lille-Lesquin Airport or the Lille-Europe, Lille-Flandres, or Tourcoing train stations to an address within the Lille Metropolitan Area ;
- Prepaid SIM card : you will be provided with a prepaid SIM card so you can stay reachable and connected ;
- Bank account setup : we assist you with the necessary steps to open a bank account in France ;
- Health insurance : we inform and support you in subscribing to health insurance, with the first three months of coverage covered by the University of Lille ;
- Ilévia transport card : you will receive a prepaid Ilévia transport card including 10 single journeys to help you get around the metropolitan area ;
- Welcome kit : you will receive a welcome kit with all the practical information you need for daily life in Lille, as well as a personalized C’ART card giving access to cultural venues within the Lille Metropolitan Area.
Eligibility criteria for the DAILY LIFE Option :
- Be enrolled at or hosted by the University of Lille or one of the following institutions : Centrale Lille, CNRS, INRIA or INSERM ;
- Be undertaking incoming international mobility for a consecutive period of more than 2 months.
